The most awaited time of the year is the holiday season. It allows us to take a break from our everyday routines, relax, and enjoy our time with family and friends. Every year, we all look forward to Christmas holiday vacations in the hopes of doing something important that will take us away from the dull and regular routine of school, studies, and works.

All of us spend holiday vacations doing what we love the most. Others prefer stepping out from the confines of their homes while some like to simply play at home. I belong to the latter. I spent my last holiday vacation at home with my family and I'm more than glad that I did. Although we went for a short travel after Christmas.
During the season of the Holidays, its all about the food such as sweets, heavy meals and gifts that we all receive. But for me, it's all about my amazing family and of course, all my loved ones.
To wrap up my Christmas day, I'll share to you a brief story about it. It all starts on the day of Christmas Eve, I wake up in the morning, pray, ( Eunoia reminder: We should not skip praying in the morning because you should meet God before you meet the circumstances of life and you must talk to God before you talk to many people) did my usual morning routine and I prepare myself to clean up the house. The process takes a good 6 hours to clean the whole house, half of the said hours were spent cleaning my room, my messy sloppy room. After cleaning, my sister and I prepared some things to give and share for the children and parents from barangay Rancho which is what we traditionally do before Christmas. We should always be grateful and share the things we have for "God is going to give you more then you asked" Ephesians 3;20. And from the bible itself, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" Acts 20:35, for He will grace you more than the things you've shared.
The event ended around 5;30 pm, so we went home and started to prepare foods and activities for Christmas. The night was spent talking, laughing and reminiscing about the good stories that have happened to our lives throughout the year.
The next few days we stepped outside our home and went beyond boarders. We travelled and spent the last remaining days blithefully. Grateful to the Almighty to end another year filled with blessings, lessons and amazing memories as well as praying for guidance for the upcoming year.
